Cross Country Run 2020
Cross Country Run
Instructions:
Every year, Pt England School holds one of the most popular events in the year. Before this event, we normally train to increase our fitness level and enjoyment.
Yes! You guessed it - “Cross Country”.
Challenge: Write a recount of Pt England Schools “Fun Run” Day. To share your experiences with your whanau.
Gold: 4-5 paragraphs (daily entries)
Silver: 3-4 paragraphs (daily entries)
Bronze: 2-3 paragraphs (daily entries)
Planning:
Introduction: | Leaving our classroom .. after cross country lines after lunch mr burt to make sure were still fit |
What happened first: | Walking towards the starting line then we sat down i was all the way at the back of the line |
What happened in the middle: | Mr jaccobson called out year 6 girls and then we walked in a line to where to cones were with a skipping rope on the moon then mr burt said on your marks get set go clap goes the clapper which means go boom all of the year 6 girls sprinted out the gate |
What happened next: | Coming up to the finish line we had to run behind were the cones were and there were these white stands |
Conclusion: | How did you feel after the race? I felt really tired and then we heard some ,music and so i decided to stand up and dance with most of the girls in year 6 and a few year sevens and eights |

Start writing: on friday we had cross country so first thing after lunch we all lined up and got handsandajezr then we went and sat down after a while mr burt called the year 6 girls then we started running at the end we got water and sat down then i decided to join others in dancing to the songs mr jacobson was playing it was fun then it was hometime and we all went home. The End
