Writing - Maui's fishing trip

 A fishing experience

 

Instructions: 

One of the greatest stories of Māori literature recounts the fishing up of the North Island. It begins with Māui and his brothers setting off on a fishing expedition.


Challenge: You and your whanau are part of the fishing expedition who found the discovery of NZ.  Watch the video and write a recount of what happened. 


Gold: 4-5 paragraphs (daily entries)

Silver: 3-4 paragraphs (daily entries)

Dear Diary, today i went fishing and found a big fish so i tried to pull it up and i got a island i named it New Zealand thats all i did today
